Statement

This unpredictability and spontaneity are what draw me to monoprints. I experiment with various techniques and mediums, such as ink, paint, and collage. This combination creates a dynamic interplay of textures and colors, resulting in a striking visual composition that is both expressive and emotive. As an artist, I am drawn to the immediacy of monoprints. The process requires a certain level of improvisation and intuition, as each layer of ink or paint is applied to the plate with a sense of discovery, playfulness and surprise.
